I want to leave the recommendation for the "Let it Snow" book. The movie is excellent and loyal to the book. But, as with most film adaptation, the book is better :)
I used to love watching Happy Feet as a kid! I used to think the penguins were so cute! Another movie I loved watching during my childhood was Elf (I still watch it every holiday season). There is a cool series on Netflix called The Holiday Movies that Made Us. The first episode of the first season dives into the behind the scenes of how Elf was made! I highly recommend the series!
When I was young, my favourite holiday movie was definitely "The Polar Express"! As I was a gullible child it made Christmas seem that much more magical :)
I remember watching 'Balto' when I was in elementary school. I always loved the part when Balto goes into the winter to go find the medication for the little girl. Btw it is based on a true story!
